In Memory of Leonardo DiKitty-o “Leo” Barrett

I adopted Leo in the fall of 1999, when he was just 11 weeks old. He was a cuddler from the very beginning - his first night with me, he made a nest in my hair to the right of my head and slept there. That became his spot, and he slept there every night for the rest of his 17 ½ years.

Leo was more than a pet - he was my baby and my best friend. He was love in feline form. Whether I was sitting or laying down, he was in my lap or by my side, using my arm or leg as a pillow. He followed me from room to room, always wanting to be wherever I was. I will miss that pure and unconditional love most of all.

Goodbye, Bubba. Baby. Purrball. Fuzzbutt. I will miss you every day until I see you again over the rainbow bridge.
